OBRA Watch

OBRA Watch is the official Neighbourhood Watch Scheme for the Old Bassett area and part of OBRA

What is OBRA Watch all about?

OBRA Watch is about local people working together to create safe, attractive and welcoming communities and places to live, where crime is less likely to happen and where people are less likely to turn to antisocial behaviour.

It is about you looking out for your neighbours and them looking out for you, crossing “barriers” of age, race and background for everyone’s good. It is about making sure that no one need feel alone, scared or vulnerable in the place where they live.

Sign up to our email  update service

OBRA watch operates an email update service to keep you informed about neighbourhood watch news for our local area. The scheme can also help with home safety advice. If you would like to subscribe to this service, please email us at OBRAwatch@gmail.com,  letting us know your house number and street name. It would be useful to also have a contact name for your household. All email addresses and contact information supplied to OBRA Watch will be kept for the sole purpose of communication between the OBRA Watch coordinators and subscribing residents. Names, addresses and emails will not be passed to or shared with any third party.

Street Representatives

Streets within the OBRA Watch area have a street representative. If you don’t know who your street rep is, please email us so that they can then introduce themselves to you.
